Workshops
Are beginners welcome at the wheel? expand_more
Absolutely. Most of our weekend intensives are designed specifically for those who have never touched clay. We value the "beginner's mind" and the beautiful imperfections it brings.
What should I wear to the studio? expand_more
Wear something you don't mind getting "earthy." Clay washes out easily, but we recommend comfortable clothing and short fingernails for better tactile control on the wheel.
When will my workshop pieces be fired? expand_more
The firing process (bisque and glaze) takes time. Your pieces will typically be ready for pickup or shipping 3-4 weeks after your workshop concludes.
Do you offer private events? expand_more
Yes, we host intimate clay sessions for groups of up to 8 people. Perfect for intentional team bonding or quiet celebrations.

Custom Commissions
Are you currently taking custom orders? expand_more
Commission slots open quarterly. We prioritize projects that align with our tactile, minimalist aesthetic. Check our 'Commissions' page for current availability status.
Can you match a specific glaze color? expand_more
While we don't offer exact Pantone matching, we can work within a tonal family. The kiln atmosphere often creates unique variations, which we embrace as part of the handcrafted journey.
What is the lead time for custom dinnerware? expand_more
Custom sets usually require 8-12 weeks from design approval to final firing, depending on the scale and complexity of the forms.

Care & Materials
Is your pottery microwave and dishwasher safe? expand_more
Most of our stoneware is microwave and dishwasher safe. However, to preserve the tactile finish and hand-stamped details for a lifetime, we always recommend hand-washing with gentle soap.
What kind of clay do you use? expand_more
We primarily work with high-fire stoneware and porcelain. Our clays are sourced locally when possible, chosen for their grit, warmth, and ability to hold the "human mark."
Are the glazes food-safe? expand_more
Yes, all of our functional ware is finished with non-toxic, lead-free glazes that are 100% food-safe.
My piece has a small spot. Is it flawed? expand_more
Small variations, "beauty marks," and slight deviations in form are the heart of our work. These are not flaws but evidence of the handmade process and the life of the material.
